You can connect Cromojo to an AI assistant and ask questions about your websites in the chat. The assistant reads your Cromojo data and answers. It connects through MCP, the standard AI assistants use to work with other apps.
Where to find it
In Cromojo, go to Account Settings > MCP, or open app.cromojo.com/settings/mcp.
Make sure MCP access is switched on under Before you connect. It's on by default.
Connect Claude
Works with the Claude desktop app. Once added, Cromojo also shows up on claude.ai and in the Claude mobile app.
Open the Claude app.
Click Customize, then Connectors.
Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
Type Cromojo as the name and paste this address into the URL field:
Click Continue.
Under OAuth client, choose Register automatically. Click Continue, then Add.
Click Connect next to Cromojo. A Cromojo page opens in your browser: click Connect there too.
Back in Claude, ask: Which websites do I have in Cromojo? If Claude lists them, you're done.
On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, your Claude workspace owner adds Cromojo first. Then you only need steps 7 and 8.
Connect Claude Code
In Cromojo, open Account Settings > MCP, choose the Claude Code tab and copy the command.
Paste it into Terminal (Mac) or PowerShell (Windows) and press Enter.
Type claude and press Enter.
Type /mcp, choose Cromojo, then Authenticate.
Click Connect on the Cromojo page that opens in your browser.
Connect ChatGPT or Codex
Works with the ChatGPT desktop app.
Open the ChatGPT app and go to Settings > Integrations > Plugins.
Click Add MCP server. If it asks for a name, type Cromojo.
Select Streamable HTTP and paste https://app.cromojo.com/mcp into the URL field.
Click Save.
Ask ChatGPT: Authenticate with Cromojo using OAuth. Click Connect on the Cromojo page that opens.
Ask: Which websites do I have in Cromojo?
If the sign-in page doesn't open, use an access token instead.
Other AI assistants
Any assistant that supports MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can connect. Paste https://app.cromojo.com/mcp and sign in when asked. If it can't sign in, use an access token.
Use an access token instead
For assistants that can't sign in to Cromojo.
In Account Settings > MCP, under Personal access tokens, click Create token.
Give it a name you'll recognise and choose when it expires (30, 90 or 365 days, or never).
Copy the token. It's shown only once.
In your assistant's settings for the Cromojo server, add a header named Authorization with the value Bearer followed by a space and your token.
Keep tokens private: anyone with a token can read your Cromojo data.
Good to know
You can connect several assistants at the same time.
Every Cromojo plan can connect an AI assistant.
