Since Webflow doesn’t have a built-in integration for IndexNow, here’s a method you can try:

1. Upload your API key file

   1. Upload yourapitoken.txt file to your Webflow Assets panel.

   2. Once uploaded, copy the URL of the hosted file.

2. Set up a 301 Redirect

   1. Go to Site Settings → Publishing → 301 Redirects.

   2. Add a redirect like this:

      1. /indexnowapitoken.txt → /path-to-asset/indexnowapitoken.txt

   3. This will allow the file to be accessible at https://www.domain.com/indexnowapitoken.txt.

3. Publish your site

4. Back on Cromojo, click Verify

For WordPress

1. Upload your API key file

   1. Go to Media → Add New and upload your yourapitoken.txt file.

   2. Once uploaded, copy the file URL (e.g. https://yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/yourapitoken.txt).

2. Set up a 301 Redirect

   1. If you use a plugin like Redirection or Yoast SEO Premium:

      • Add a redirect from /yourapitoken.txt → the full media URL from step 1.

1. Publish / save your changes

2. Back on Cromojo, click Verify

For Shopify

1. Upload your API key file

   1. Go to Settings → Files and upload your yourapitoken.txt file.

   2. Copy the URL of the uploaded file.

2. Set up a redirect

   1. Go to Online Store → Navigation → URL Redirects.

   2. Add a redirect:

      • /yourapitoken.txt → the Shopify CDN URL from step 1

3. Back on Cromojo, click Verify

For Squarespace

1. Upload your API key file

   1. Squarespace doesn't have a general-purpose file library, but you can upload the file as a downloadable digital product or attach it via a File Block on a hidden page.

   2. Copy the hosted file URL.

2. Set up a URL Mapping

   1. Go to Settings → Advanced → URL Mappings.

   2. Add a rule to redirect /yourapitoken.txt to the hosted file URL.

3. Back on Cromojo, click Verify

For Wix

1. Upload your API key file

   1. Go to your Wix Dashboard → Media Manager and upload your yourapitoken.txt file.

   2. Copy the file URL.

2. Set up a redirect

   1. Go to SEO Tools → URL Redirect Manager.

   2. Add a redirect:

      • /yourapitoken.txt → the Wix media URL from step 1

3. Publish your site

4. Back on Cromojo, click Verify
