Short answer: yes. Connecting Google Search Console (GSC) is the first thing you do, because it’s how Cromojo sees your site’s pages and is allowed to submit them for indexing. Without it, Cromojo has nothing to work with.

What is Google Search Console?

GSC is Google’s free tool for site owners. It shows how your site performs in Google Search and lets approved tools submit pages for indexing. It’s free and takes a couple of minutes to set up.

How to connect it

  1. When you set up your site in Cromojo, you’ll be prompted to connect your Google account, use the main account that owns your site in GSC.

  2. Approve the connection. Cromojo then pulls in the sites attached to that GSC account.

  3. Enable the site in your dashboard to start indexing and monitoring.

Good to know

  • Use the account that already has your site verified in GSC.

  • On Pro plans and above, you can connect more than one GSC account (see “I Have Multiple GSC Accounts”).

  • You can manage the connection any time in Settings.
